A wonderful thing is happening...I'm getting studio space at The Silos on Sawyer!   Very excited to share space with two other jewelers in Studio 303.

Just playing Tetris with the furniture for now, but we already love the space.  Maybe it's those beautiful sunsets.

Nothing is more inspiring than a self guided tour of the gem and mineral exhibit at the Houston Museum of Natural Science.  The completely darkened room is lit only with fiber optic lights that showcase their natural beauty.  I took a picture of each and every one of them.  Each and every one.

The Box Ring Project

Here it is....the infamous "box ring project" at the Revere Academy.  Literally made with blood, sweat, and tears. After much debate, I finally added 3 very tiny 1mm cubic zirconia to the side of my box ring.  I pronounce you "mountain song" ring.
They make a little competition out of our final project and I'm humbled by everyone that voted for me.  Winner of the "best stone setting" category.
Thanks y'all!

Congratulations to my fellow Revere Academy students; we made it!  Attending the Jewelry Technician Intensive and earning my JTI Diploma was one of the most rigorous, challenging, and rewarding experiences I've had.  Thanks to all our wonderful teachers for passing along your knowledge and amazing tips to us.

Thank you: Alan Revere, Nancy Wintrup, Roberta Tanaka, and Vasken Tanielian.  Thank you faculty and staff: Glenda Ruth, Eileen Kozik, and Karen Sprague.
