Labradorite set in etched brass on a sterling silver band. Size 6 1/2
Labradorite is considered a stone of transformation and it’s one of my favorites because of the unique flashes of color called labradorescence. At some angles it’s merely a plain, gray stone, but when the light hits it just right...bam! Gorgeous iridescent flashes of color hits your eyes. This stone even has a tiny rainbow of you catch it at the right angle.
From the Illusion Series:
All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, everything you think of as the material world dissolves on the sub atomic levels. Literally reality is an illusion, albeit a very persistent illusion "~Einstein

This is a substantial sized stone with a nice weight to it and lots of flash.
Natural, raw peacock ore stone set in a 14k gold filled claw setting. Size 6 1/2
It’s a fragile stone, but worth wearing. Peacock ore gets its stunning good and “peacock” colors from being tarnished. I love the idea that it’s beauty is revealed only when it becomes “tarnished.”
This is a delicate stone, so take care when wearing. Avoid bumping into hard surfaces and dropping on hard floors.
Part of the Illusion Series - this oversized, hand etched brass features a black onyx cabochon “pupil” and Art Deco inspired polka dotted “iris” - sterling silver band, size 7
Dichroic glass by artist Deborah Ellington encased in a handmade, sterling silver setting. This series of glass cabochons makes me think of what a rainbow dewdrop would look like.
I love the flecks or orange, peach, gold which remind me of a beautiful evening sunset.
